I am an industrial millwright by trade and I enjoy improving the
things around me, making them work more efficiently or fixing them when they are broken.
My passion for cars and things mechanical started in high school, with a simple small engine
class. It peaked my interest learning how things work. Also the satisfaction of completing a job
and seeing the final product run a work properly. From there I moved on to more advanced
processes such as Brake, suspension and engine diagnosis. My final year in these courses was
spent rebuilding a 305 chevy block.
My training in the past few years has been rigorous, working on welding certifications and other
mechanical processes such as bearing alignments and shaft tolerances. I’ve worked with all
welding types and processes; Tungsten Inert Gas welding (TIG), Metal Inert gas welding (MIG)
also known as wire-feed, also shielded Metal Arc welding (SMAW) or “stick”.
