Current market value

We do a full bumper to bumper inspection which includes but not limited to the following: Full decode of vehicle VIN number, Cowl or trim tag decode, Engine numbers and date codes (when applicable), Identification of attached components such as manifold, carburetor, radiator, etc., Original or restoration quality, Paint and trim quality including all chrome, stainless steel, plastic and if correct to the vehicle, Under body inspection including floor pans, trunk pan, rocker panels, etc., Undercarriage inspection including frames and sub frames, Inspection of wheels, brakes, exhaust, etc., Engine and drive-train inspection, Interior inspection: seats, carpet, console, dash, headliner, door panels etc., for quality, originality, and correctness, Verification of proper functionality of all switches, controls, levers, lights, electronics, etc., Condition of all glass, Fit and finish of all body panels, Evidence of rust or collision damage, Full detailed photographs documenting the appraisal, Small video of walk around with vehicle running, Review of any documentation the owner has in possession such as build sheet, protect-o-plate, etc., Value in current market times, Several comparable vehicles true market value.  For remote, out of state, and international clientele, we do offer online appraisals.

Diminished Value Appraisal Services
Our industry recognized appraisal method will provide you with a comprehensive and detailed report on the market related Diminished Value your vehicle has suffered as a result of an accident that was not your fault. Your report will breakdown each category in detail with a full explanation of the reason your vehicle has lost market value. This report will provide you with the tool (proof) you need to collect what is owed to you!


Third Party Appraisal (Total Loss)
If your vehicle was deemed a total loss by the Insurance company and you are not satisfied with their offer, you have the right to obtain an independent appraisal to determine the true market value of your vehicle.
         *We will determine the fair actual cash value of your vehicle and will also negotiate the settlement in an                                               arbitration                                

Appraisals for Titles
Some states require appraisals to obtain a lost title or for tax purposes. We will come to your location to inspect your vehicle.

Appraisals for Insurance Policy
If you wish to have a Stated Value Policy, the Insurance Company will require an appraisal. We will come to your location to inspect your vehicle to find its true market value.

Estate Appraisals
For Bankruptcy, Divorces or Estate Sales, Mad Muscle Garage can provide an independent certified appraisal to help you establish the true market value of automobiles.

Charitable Donations
Generally, if the claimed deduction for your vehicle is more than $5,000, you must get an IRS  qualified and compliant donation car appraisal made by a certified auto appraiser. In addition, you must attach an appraisal summary (Section B of Form 8283) to your tax return. For your vehicle to qualify for a tax deduction, and as indicated in IRS publication P4303  you need a WRITTEN APPRAISAL –  Your written appraisal must be from a certified appraiser. The appraisal must be made no more than 60 days before you donate the vehicle. You must receive the appraisal before the due date (including extensions) of the return on which you first claim a deduction for the vehicle. For a deduction first claimed on an amended return, the appraisal must be received before the date the amended return is filed. When you file your income tax return (Form 1040 or Form 1040X), you will need to complete Section B of Form 8283, and attach it to your return. We will provide and properly complete this form as part of your appraisal!​

 
*No travel charge up to 120 mile radius of the Twin Cities area. We also travel within the state of Minnesota, Iowa, South Dakota, North Dakota, and Wisconsin for an additional .75 per mile and any additional travel expenses. If you have an appraisal outside of these areas, please contact us for pricing.

All vehicle appraisal results are kept confidential and will not be disclosed to any third parties without the permission of the client.  There no refunds given if services have already been provided. If an order is cancelled within 24 hours of a confirmed appointment, there is a $75 cancellation fee,  plus any additional expenses which can include time and travel. If an order is cancelled prior to 24 hours of a confirmed appointment, there will be no charge. If any expenses have been incurred, the customer will be responsible for reimbursement of those expenses.
