Mad Muscle Garage is proud to announce that we have decided to take our recent barn find 1952 Chevy Styleline Deluxe 2 door and do a frame off restoration street rod conversion and then auction it off for Children's Cancer Research. Here at Mad Muscle Garage, we want to help give back to our community.  We feel the Masonic Children's Hospital is the perfect organization to partner with.  You don’t really understand the significance of what cancer does to you until it’s a part of your life. Due to side effects, you might have to learn how to walk again, or eat again, or how to use the bathroom by yourself, how to shower by yourself. You have to relearn all these things and being a child can make it even more difficult.  With your generous donations, we can help put an end to childhood cancer.

We will be documenting and updating our website as well as our GoFundMe page with both pictures and videos on a weekly basis. We have started this GoFundMe to help cover the cost of materials during the build.

Mad Muscle Garage has also partnered with Smoke Signals Charity Auto Show to unveil our Build For Children's Cancer Sunday September 16th 2018.  Please clink on the Smoke Signals logo below to check out the venue.

10/1/2016 We got together for a few pictures with our sponsors.  This week we will be getting the front end broken down and prepping the body to come off the frame.

10/14/2017: We welding in our Heidts IFS system.  We also have our Walton Fabrication parabolic rear suspension installed.  This next week we will paint and finish installing from and rear suspension.  By the end of the month we should have the body mounted on the frame.

3/28/18: We broke the doors down to fill in the trim holes correctly.  We realized the past body work where the trim holes here filled had JB Weld and a piece of scrape metal with filler.  We used a copper spoon and welding in the holes.  We will be putting a coat of primer on the doors and fenders next.

10/7/2016: Matt and Jon did overtime this weekend on the 52.  They got the front end broken down.  We will be taking the body of the frame in the weeks to come to prep it for paint and apply Rust Bullet to the frame and underbody of the car.

2/27/18: We filled in the remaining trim holes we eliminated and finished metal work on the drivers rear quarter panel.

4/20/17: Things are back in full swing on the 52 cancer build.  We have filled the lower trim holes and smoothed out the lower body a bit.  We finished up the remaining metal work and are prepping to take the body off the hoist.

3/19/18:  We had a few hours to spare so we prepped the hood and trunk and they are ready to be primed.

12/27/2016:  We were able to get some work in during the holiday break! We got the last bit of sanding and prepping done to both the body and the frame.  We have overhauled our rear axle thanks to Yukon Gear and it's now awaiting paint.  We will be ordering up our Hiedts Independent Front Suspension and also ordering up the remaining rear suspension parts.  We are set up to shoot our video for Rust Bullet that shows the application process the 2nd week of January.  Later this week we will start to prep the firewall for the V8 conversion and also paint.

02/14/2017: We have completed our videos for Rust Bullet!  Thank you to Rust Bullet for providing us product for this build!  We are currently building the chassis and should have it rolling in the next week or two.  We are waiting on the rear suspension set up.  Check out our YouTube channel for video updates.

2/16/2017: We have shaven down the firewall fins to fit the V8.  We will have the firewall painted this weekend.  We will be spending the next couple weeks assembling the chassis and prepping the body to mount back on the frame.

1/28/2017 We were able to work hard all week to be able to spray the underbody. The color we choose was original to the car.  This coming week we will be finishing up the firewall and proceed to paint.

12/15/2016: We received our new transmission mount from Walton Fabrication and have it mounted to the frame.  The mount lined up with no issues!  We have received our master overhaul kit and new axles from Yukon Gear and will be finishing the rear axle this week.  We are almost done with the sanding of the bottom of the car and are getting closer applying the Rust Bullet sealer.

9/3/2015 We have taken out the interior to take over to our crew member and owner of MinneSewta Upholstry Kevin Johnson.  The old carpet and floor padding was extracted and we cleaned, prepped, and coated the interior floor pans.  There was zero rust on any of the floor pans which made our job that much easier.

1/20/2017: We have started to gut the original wiring and getting the interior ready for paint.  We have the motor out at the machine shop and will start assembly in the next couple weeks.  Later this week we will start prepping and cut out the fins on the firewall to fit the V8.
